Aerial Film Australia's SHOTOVER F1 RUSH paired with the Jetshot L39 ALBATROSS CAMERA JET offers an unparalleled experience in high-speed aerial cinematography and high-resolution stills photography . Capable of reaching speeds up to 350 nautical miles per hour, this specialised jet is engineered to capture dynamic and exhilarating footage with precision and clarity.

creative image capture

The Jetshot L39 Jet is particularly suited to at air-to-air photography and high-altitude operations. It allows us to film fast-moving subjects with unmatched compositional control and stability. Our team of skilled pilots and cinematographers work together to deliver breathtaking visuals.

Cine Camera setups -The Arri Alexa 35 is a popular camera choice for film work using this platform, but the system can also house a range of compact digital cine cameras, including those from Sony, Red and Canon. And we can accommodate a wide range of premium lens choices as well.

Stills Camera setups – Almost any kind of stills camera and lens combination can be fitted. Everything from DSLR cameras from Nikon and Canon through to high-end medium to large format. These cameras simply need to support remote control options via USB or ethernet.

TECHNICAL IMAGE CAPTURE

Multi Sensor, high resolution stills, ultra high definition video, super slow motion, thermal: you name a sensor type and, thanks to the ‘open platform’ design of the Shotover F1 Rush - subject to size and weight - we will engineer a way to make the sensor fit.

And example of one of the technology packages currently being used in the F1 systems is the HAWK TZ. This multi senor package includes:

Daylight Optical Video – Full 1080p camera with 30x optical and 4x digital zoom

Radiometric thermal IR – 1024x768 pixel sensor with 12mm to 150mm optical zoom lens and -20°C to 1200°C range.

Digital Optical Stills – 45.7 megapixel RAW capable with 70mm to 1120mm zoom options.

Laser geo-targeting range finder  – Accurate real time calculation of the image target’s geographical location.

Jet + Helicopter - the Ultimate Solution

Pair the L39 Albatross with a helicopter, and you have every aerial filming scenario covered.

The L39 excels in high-speed tracking and high-altitude shots, while helicopters like our Airbus AS350 Squirrels or Bell 206 series are perfect for low level precision manoeuvring.

Whether capturing high-speed aerial sequences or the more intricate lower-altitude shots, we can provide the best pairing of aircraft and air crew that meet the unique demands of any project.

The L39 excels in high-speed tracking and high-altitude shots, while helicopters like our Airbus AS350 Squirrels or Bell 206 series are perfect for low level precision manoeuvring.
